SEPTEMBER
🍂 The September Shift Sale 🍂
September is when things begin to shift again
After months of summer holding patterns, the seasonal shift has begun.
🍂 Daylight shortens and temperatures start to cool.
🍂 ACTH rises, metabolism responds, and the coat change starts.
🍂 September rain can bring on a grass flush - and for some horses, renewed metabolic challenges.
🍂 And horses will finally be moving more again.
But what does all this mean for our horses?
September isn't one single change - it's a whole collection of seasonal shifts happening at once. And sometimes this is where our horses begin to show us that something in the wider picture could use a little extra support.
So this month, we're following the biology as it shifts – from the seasonal ACTH rise, the coat change and seasonal skin, to the autumn grass flush and metabolic balance – looking at what's changing, why it matters, and where thoughtful support may help.
