Meet the EquiNatural team
Lifelong horse lovers (well, apart from Rich who'd never met a horse before he met Carol back in 2001), we're passionate about natural equine wellness and ethical horse-care.
Carol Moreton, Founder
Hello, and Carol here, founder of EquiNatural - let me introduce you to our lovely team.
It all began for me in 2006 when our horses' health crisis drove me to uncover the impact of modern feeding practices on equine well-being.
What started as a desperate mission to save our own horses who had become very sick, has evolved into two decades so far of continuous study and research into Functional Medicine and equine nutrition, culminating in qualifying as a Medical Herbalist in 2016.
Cut to today, and having handed over the management of our business to husband Richard, and supported by our wonderful team, I now dedicate my time to keeping on top of the latest equine science to help our clients restore and maintain their horses’ health naturally. Oh, and posting a blog or two as well!

Richard Moreton, MD
Rich and I met back in 2001, and having never been near a horse in his life, within weeks he was in Murf's saddle with a borrowed riding hat. It wasn’t long before Millie, his first loan cob, was followed by NF Bromley, who repeatedly taught Rich what fun it was like to be bucked off. Not.
Then the beautiful Blas, a Polish TB eventer with Mach-4 speed, helped Rich discover the joys of horse-world, alongside me and Tabatha (his daughter), galloping together every weekend across Salisbury Plain.
Having since hung up his reins, Rich now shares a deep bond with Carmen, his beautiful 19yo unridden TB mare, who adores him.
A qualified FCCA accountant for 40+ years, I managed to poach him from Langford Vets during Covid, which frees me up to focus on the latest IFM research and equine health insights.

Kim, Customer Support
If you've contacted us, you've likely spoken with Kim. She's also a qualified equine podiatrist (Areion Academ), which makes her our resident hoof expert.
Kim's the proud owner of Midnight, a stunning Welsh Cob she’s owned from a 2yo. Together, they love nothing more than exploring the beautiful Mendip Hills.
When she’s not handling the EquiNatural client enquiries, Kim's also out walking her two lively dogs, Milo and Benji.
With a lifelong passion for equine wellbeing, Kim fits right in with EquiNatural’s ethos and core values.

Harriet, Production
A pony-mad kid, Harriet started following local horse owners to ask if she could ride their horses, before helping at the local riding school.
Her first loan pony, Oliver, taught her plenty with his penchant for bolting, followed by Fizz, a 12.2 Sec.A, who was also fizz by nature.
Finally, ISH Lady became her lifelong partner on the family farm.
Meanwhile, outside of EquiNatural, her two adorable young boys keep her company at the farm with their horses and sheep.

Jade, Production
Jade's world changed the day her mum’s friend brought home a horse. Enter Punch, a handsome 16yo chestnut TB - before long, Jade was hacking out with friends, having a blast at local shows, and discovering a love for jumping.
And then came Milly when Jade was 16.
Together over the years they've shared everything from showjumping, XC, fun rides, and endless hacks.
These days Milly now enjoys a well‑earned retirement, being led around the field by Jade’s young sons - a testament to her beautiful character.
