Legacy of Legends & EquiNatural
Honouring our equine heroes - naturally

"Be there for the older horses of tomorrow, for they are the ones that made us smile today"
The Moons
When Jen and Nick Moon of Legacy of Legends reached out to us from their home in rural France, we knew this was something special.
Established in 2016, Legacy of Legends is a sanctuary for elite competition horses who’ve given their all - often at the highest levels of sport. It all started with Eperlan du Fouquet, the legendary puissance jumper ridden by Ben Maher, who the Moons found passed on from home to home, broken and lost. Read Eperlan's extraordinary story here.
These extraordinary equine athletes, many once household names, now enjoy a peaceful retirement under the Moon family’s loving care, far from the arenas they once lit up.
From Carol, EquiNatural's Founder
“Watching Jen’s video introducing the Legends brought tears to my eyes. These horses have earned every ounce of love and comfort they now receive. We’re honoured to support the Legacy of Legends charity in this vital work.”
Why we joined forces
Legacy of Legends embodies the same ethos we do - compassion, integrity, and lifelong stewardship. With so many older horses needing targeted support - joints, gut health, emotional wellbeing - it's a privilege for us to support the Legends with tailored herbal and nutritional support.
From arthritis to ulcers to post-career recovery, we work closely with Jen & Nick to support each of their retirees with a dedicated supplement plan.

Competition horses in the care of Legacy of Legends Charity
As well as Eperlan, now an elder statesman in his 30s, there are many other elite show jumper and eventing horses at Legacy of Legends.
Udea represented both Egypt and Italy in the 2012 London Olympics.
Madjik is a stunning Akhal-Teke horse, who in his 30s still sports the shimmering coat the breed is renowned for. And
Little Liv, also in her 30s, was a high-profile show pony in her heyday, and the mother of numerous successful show ponies whose descendants are still competing today. Most recently,
Cantho Z and
Chandro Blue - aka the
BFG
- have joined the Legends' herd.
Legacy of Legends also helps keep once-famous horses in the public eye with their owners’ help via media platforms, including:
- Michael Whittaker’s Viking
- Tina Fletcher’s Hello Sailor
- Tina Fletcher’s Promised Land
- Andrew Davies’
Limbo
