TriBute contains natural salicylate-bearing botanicals and must be used with strict veterinary awareness.


Veterinary oversight is required when used alongside:

  • NSAIDs (phenylbutazone, flunixin, meloxicam, etc.)
    —         Do NOT combine. Natural salicylates + NSAIDs may heighten gastric risk.
  • Anticoagulants
    — Willow bark has theoretical platelet-influencing properties.
  • Corticosteroids
    — Caution due to gastric considerations during acute stress.
  • Drugs affecting gastric mucosa
    — Salicylates may interact with mucosal integrity pathways.
  • Competition horses (FEI/discipline rules)
    — Devil’s Claw and salicylates are prohibited substances.


No clinically significant pharmacodynamic interactions have been documented at nutritional levels, but NSAID avoidance is mandatory.

Tincture:
6ml per 100kg bodyweight daily (30ml for 500kg horse).
Shake before use.
Fast-absorbing; divide dose if necessary.


Short-Term Use:
Designed for up to 6–8 weeks maximum before transitioning to DuoBute for ongoing support.
