Glucosamine sulphate provides high-potency glucosamine amino sugar, found in high levels in the surrounding joint fluid.
The liver recognises Glucosamine sulphate as the natural version of glucosamine (as opposed to the more commonly used synthetic Glucosamine HCL) and gets into the joints with positive improvement. Glucosamine HCL can't, because try as it might, the liver can’t convert HCL to a sulphate.
Cartilage is naturally produced by the body, but over time, it can wear down and result in grinding bones and other issues. This can lead to extreme pain and difficulty in moving. Research shows that supplementing with Glucosamine could help slow down cartilage deterioration. In addition, it may lessen inflammation from active usage and help support normal functioning of the joints.

- 4g/100kg bodyweight per day to start with (for the average 500kg horse add 20g daily to feed), reducing to 2g/100kg bodyweight for maintenance once comfortable.
