AUTUMNRESET for Horses | Organic Autumn Herbs for Water Buffet & Self-Selection
Shorter days, cooler nights, changing grass... Autumn has definitely arrived.
Summer is beginning to fade, hedgerows are changing, and our horses are moving into a very different season of grazing and browsing.
AutumnReset brings a little of that seasonal variety back to the menu. Designed as a seasonal herbal water buffet and self-selection collection for horses, each herb stays separate so your horse can explore the different tastes and aromas individually.
We've selected six certified organic autumn herbs and packed them separately, with a mixture of roots, berries, seeds and aromatic plants chosen to reflect this change of season.
Offer them in separate water buckets or dry self-selection bowls – then see which ones get the vote.
*Note: All our herbs are available individually - see our Individual Items category from the Shop menu.

What's inside the AutumnReset herbal buffet?
Each bag contains:
- 6 × 100g packs of seasonal certified organic herbs
- Suitable for water buffet infusions or dry self-selection bowls
Composition
- Yarrow Herb (Cut) – Aromatic and pleasantly bitter, Yarrow is a traditional digestive herb and a familiar plant of meadows and field margins.
- Burdock Root (Ground) – An earthy, nutritive root traditionally used to support digestion and the body's everyday liver and skin housekeeping.
- Rosehips (Ground) – Naturally rich in plant nutrients and antioxidants, and about as autumn-hedgerow as you can get.
- Hawthorn Berries (Ground) – A classic autumn berry traditionally associated with healthy circulation and cardiovascular support.
- Dandelion Root (Ground) – One of herbalism's classic bitter roots, traditionally used to support digestion and normal liver function.
- Milk Thistle Seed (Ground) – A nutrient-rich seed best known for its traditional association with liver support.
What makes these autumn herbs so seasonal?
By autumn, the botanical menu has changed dramatically from the tender leaves and fresh growth of spring. Seeds, fruits, berries and mature roots become a much bigger part of the seasonal landscape – which is exactly what inspired this earthier little buffet.
How to offer a herbal water buffet or dry self-selection
Give your horse time to explore, select, and settle into their preferences.
- Water buffet – Add 1–2 scoops of each herb to a separate bucket of fresh water, placed alongside your horse's usual water source. Top up during the day and refresh every couple of days.
- Dry self-selection – Offer each herb separately in its own bowl and let your horse browse the selection in their own time.
Why these six herbs for autumn?
Spring gives us tender greens, and summer brings leaves, flowers and aromatics. By autumn, the hedgerow and herb garden have changed again – and we wanted the AutumnReset selection to reflect that.
- Roots – Burdock + Dandelion
- Earthier bitter herbs traditionally associated with digestion and everyday liver support. - Berries – Rosehips + Hawthorn
- Two unmistakably autumnal fruits, bringing natural plant nutrients alongside Hawthorn's traditional association with healthy circulation. - Aromatic herb – Yarrow
- A traditional bitter aromatic, adding another taste and texture to the selection while supporting comfortable digestive function. - Seed – Milk Thistle
- Nutrient-rich seed traditionally associated with liver support and a rather lovely fit for the more mature botanical landscape of autumn.
Different plant parts, different tastes, different textures – and six more things for your horse to have an opinion about.
