Constituents: Starch, triterpenoid saponins, protein (avenins), starch, monosaccharides and oligosaccharides, glycosyl flavones, vitamins B and E, alkaloids, minerals (silica, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron, potassium), silicic acid, mucin.
