POLLENTONIC *Organic Herbal Blend for Horses - spring comfort, allergy and airway ease, immune-calming
Spring pollen reactions may look mild from the outside -
but when you’ve lived through it with your horse, you know it’s anything but.
- The itchy eyes
- The frantic nose rubbing
- The sudden headshaking the moment
- That rising reactivity
Meet PollenTonic - formulated for the early-season, histamine-driven reactions that start in the eyes, nose, and sinuses before
they spill deeper into the chest.
Made with calming, cooling, immune-steadying herbs, PollenTonic helps your horse stay more settled, clearer, and more comfortable as spring tree pollens rise, helping the body respond as it should.
✨ "She is 100% happier out in the field and no longer headshakes or rubs her eyes."

Overview
Allergic reactions in horses are now so common throughout the year, with spring (tree) pollens often causing significant histamine intolerance. Then along come our hot and humid summers, presenting a deeper respiratory congestion for some horses from the grass pollens.
PollenTonic addresses the spring tree-pollen symptoms by calming the immune system's over-reaction to allergens.
The root cause? An over-reaction by the body's immune system, with recent science now identifying this syndrome as a much bigger picture - KPU
- a multi-metabolic detoxification/immune dysregulation disorder which presents as a respiratory issue.
Is PollenTonic Right for My Horse?
PollenTonic is your early-stage spring allergy support when reactions are itchy, reactive, upper-airway focused, and not yet respiratory.
Choose PollenTonic when your horse:
✔ Has itchy, watery, or irritated eyes in spring
✔ Rubs their nose or face on their legs
✔ Headshakes during high pollen days
PollenTonic is not …
- for deeper airway involvement (coughing, wheezing → see BreathePlus)
- for spring symptoms that escalate into the chest (see PollenCOMBO)
- for chronic respiratory problems
- for summer grass-pollen congestion (this is a deeper immune picture - see our BreathePlus )
Why PollenTonic helps
Pollen reactions in horses today aren’t “simple allergies.”
Recent research - human and equine - shows a clear pattern:
- Spring tree pollen reactions sit on top of immune dysregulation
- That dysregulation is strongly linked to KPU-type metabolic stress
- Histamine is just the first layer
- If left unsupported, symptoms can spill into the lungs
This is why so many owners see this pattern:
- Week 1–2: itchy eyes, nose rubbing → PollenTonic helps
- Week 3–4: reactions intensify → coughing begins
- Week 5+: chest involvement → PollenCOMBO or BreathePlus needed
This isn’t failure - it’s natural physiological staging.
PollenTonic supports:
🌿 Calmer histamine responses
🌿 Settled eyes, nose, and upper-airways
🌿 Less irritability around windy/high-pollen days
🌿 Steadier immune reactivity during tree-pollen season
It supports what can be modulated at Stage 1. When symptoms go deeper - it hands over.
Which blend - PollenTonic, PollenCOMBO, or BreathePlus?
→ PollenTonic
Spring comfort | Histamine balance | Upper-airway ease
For reactive/itchy/irritated symptoms without deeper chest involvement.
→ PollenCOMBO
Seasonal escalation | Allergy + light airway support
When pollen reactions start triggering coughs.
→ BreathePlus
Chronic respiratory support | Lung & airway resilience
When symptoms move beyond irritation into breathing effort, wheezing, or chest tightness.
Quick guide - when to choose which?
| IF YOUR HORSE… | BEST CHOICE |

| Reacts to early tree pollens | PollenTonic |
| Develops cough as pollen increases | PollenCOMBO |
| Spring symptoms escalate into summer | PollenCOMBO |

Energetic Architecture
- Immune calming & histamine moderation(Nettle, Yarrow, Chamomile, Ashwagandha)
Reduces immune over-reaction and tissue hypersensitivity. - Upper-airway & sinus comfort(Eyebright, Elecampane, Peppermint)
Supports eyes, nose, sinuses, and early airway irritation. - Supportive buffering & flow

Fussy Eater?
Horses sometimes have their own opinions (and strong tastebuds!), so now and then a new blend might need a little extra encouragement. This doesn’t reflect the quality or efficacy of the product, but rather their natural instinct towards new flavours.

Clinical Considerations / Veterinary Reference
PollenTonic is a gentle, supportive blend designed to help maintain seasonal spring-pollen comfort, balanced immune responses, and clearer breathing.
Advisories
- For best results, begin feeding 4–6 weeks before the spring-pollen season, so the immune system can strengthen before allergens peak.
- Contains botanicals that naturally influence fluid balance, histamine responses, and respiratory comfort - ensure constant access to water and forage.
- Horses with deeper spring-pollen airway congestion and recurring cough, may require PollenCOMBO or BreathePlus instead. Please check with us for advice.
- May be used long-term through spring as part of a broad seasonal support routine.
Cautions
- Glycyrrhiza (Liquorice) may prolong corticosteroid action; veterinary oversight recommended for horses on steroid therapy.
- Herbs influencing circulation (e.g. Ginkgo , Achillea ) should be used with care alongside anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications.
- No clinically significant interactions are reported at nutritional levels, but always space herbal and medicated feeds by a few hours where possible.
Contraindications
- Not suitable for pregnant or nursing mares due to aromatic and immune-modulating botanicals.
- Avoid use in horses on steroid medications(dexamethasone, prednisolone, inhalers) unless under veterinary guidance - Glycyrrhiza (Liquorice) may prolong steroid activity.
- Use caution in horses with kidney disease or fluid retention, as Glycyrrhiza (Liquorice) may influence electrolyte balance and water regulation.
- Not advised for severe or atypical headshaking cases where symptoms occur outside pollen-related triggers (possible trigeminal involvement).
