PSSMFlex is designed for horses who struggle with muscle tension, stiffness, energy dips, or exercise intolerance - especially those showing classic PSSM-type patterns. If your horse displays several of the signs below, PSSMFlex is very likely the right fit.

• Feel tight or resistant in their muscles, especially through the back, hindquarters, or shoulders.
• Take a long time to warm up, move freely, or stride out comfortably.

• Need urgent diagnostic investigation for severe, sudden-onset tying-up or acute pain (always stabilise first).

Composition Glossary

1. L Glutamine - A key amino acid and the most abundant in skeletal muscle. It supports healthy muscle fibre repair, helps maintain cellular resilience after exercise or stress, and nourishes tissues involved in recovery. Its role in protein synthesis makes it especially valuable for horses prone to muscle soreness or tightness.
2. Acetyl L-Carnitine - A highly bioavailable form of L-Carnitine that shuttles fatty acids into the mitochondria — the cell’s energy centres — to help muscles produce clean, efficient fuel. Supports stamina, reduces exercise intolerance, and may help horses prone to tying-up or stiffness improve their energy metabolism.
3. Viburnum opulus (Cramp Bark) - A classic botanical for easing smooth and skeletal muscle tension. Its gentle antispasmodic properties help calm tight, over-contracted muscle fibres, supporting freer movement and reducing the discomfort associated with PSSM-related muscular rigidity.

PSSMFlex is a gentle, supportive blend designed to sit alongside the core management needs of PSSM horses - a low-starch, high-forage diet, good mineral balance, and regular movement. Most horses tolerate it perfectly when introduced gradually, and it can be used long-term as part of a wider muscular and metabolic support routine.

It isn’t suitable for pregnant mares or horses with bleeding disorders, and if your horse is on prescription medication, particularly heart or blood-thinning drugs, it’s best to check with your vet before use.
