“The specialist was amazed - virtually all signs of ERU gone, and even a cataract had shrunk!”

Overview

The equine eye is the largest of any land mammal, and a beautiful thing to behold.

Beautifully complex and deeply expressive - they're a true mirror to your horse’s inner wellbeing. It's no surprise that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) describes the eyes as the windows to the inner workings of the body.

For optimal eye health, maintaining overall immunity is key. When the eyes become irritated, inflamed, or chronically sensitive, it’s not just the eye that suffers; the whole system feels the strain.

Following our own experience with two of our own ponies who had eye challenges (one particularly bad), EyeTonic was created to support this delicate balance from within. Rooted in functional herbalism, its organic botanicals nourish ocular circulation, supporting the body’s natural repair pathways and immune response -helping your horse stay comfortable and bright-eyed.

Whether facing recurring sensitivity or longer-term challenges, EyeTonic offers a steady, natural companion for eye comfort and resilience.

Our story

We’ve seen first-hand how EyeTonic can make a difference. We originally formulated it for our Cookie, who was prone to sticky eyes in winter and during high pollen counts.

Then in 2019 little Pops came into our world. She arrived with persistent ‘pink eye’ and profuse tear production that turned crusty. Despite our best efforts with masks and wiping, she would constantly rub her eyes, increasing the bacterial risk.

With EyeTonic there was noticed improvement within just 24 hours, with much reduced lacrimation, and she was far more comfortable. From then on she never looked back .

Horses may have their own opinions (and strong tastebuds!), so now and then a new blend might need a little extra encouragement. This doesn’t reflect the quality or efficacy of the product, but rather their natural instinct towards new.
