OPTIMACARE🎄CHRISTMAS SALE! *Organic herbal blend for horses - a comprehensive, regenerative, nutritional 3-stage full-body detox for equine vitality
Part of our C.A.R.E Immunity Protocol
Cleanse | Activate | Regenerate | Energise
OptimaCARE is a premium 3-stage, 1-month programme that targets the equine gut, liver, kidneys, and circulatory systems, to rejuvenate and restore metabolic balance.
This functional, botanical approach provides lasting support for overall health and vitality, with each herb playing a distinct role across the three synergistic stages - Gut, Liver & Kidneys, and Circulation - supporting natural detoxification, microbial balance, and whole-body renewal from the inside-out.
✨ "You have given me my horse back - bright eyes, glossy coat, and a spring in her step!" Angela H.

Note: For a complete reset/detoxification protocol, see our OptimaPLUS , which addresses discomfort, detoxification, and nutritional balance in one structured plan, and with proactive support suggestions thereafter.
Overview
Fed over 1-month, with each 'stage' fed over 10-days, the synergistic combination of each stage of our OptimaCARE formula is formulated to bring a healthy balance back into the whole inner-engine of the horse, specifically the gut and immune system, filtration detoxification organs (lymph nodes, liver and kidneys), and the two circulatory systems (lymph and blood).
Once the course is finished, allow a week for the system to realign, function and strengthen by itself. This will also give you the chance to assess how your horse is, so that any symptoms they may then present with can be addressed directly instead of having to struggle through an overburdened system.
For the latest detoxification research and insights, see our main A-Z Condition/Detoxification page in the Advice Centre above.
Is OptimaCARE right for my horse?
OptimaCARE is your once-or-twice-yearly, structured inner reset - designed to clear the paths so your horse’s systems can function more smoothly, efficiently, and comfortably going forward.
Functional Fit – where OptimaCARE belongs in your horse’s whole-body support
OptimaCARE is designed as a structured full-system reset for horses whose inner systems feel overloaded, sluggish, or out of balance.
It supports the gut → liver & kidneys → circulation sequence over three clearly defined stages, helping the body clear accumulated metabolic burden, re-establish internal flow, and move forward with greater clarity and vitality
It’s the right choice when your horse needs a co-ordinated reset, rather than targeting just one organ or symptom.
→ OptimaCARE is:
- for horses needing a full-body, staged cleanse/detox programme
- for sluggish digestion, dull coat, low vitality, or “stuck” systems
- for post-medication, post-illness, or post-stress rebalancing
- for seasonal metabolic support (spring or autumn transitions)
- for horses recovering well after laminitis
- for owners wanting a structured, start-to-finish reset
→ OptimaCARE is not:
- a daily maintenance supplement
- an acute support formula for pain, colic, or laminitic flare-ups
- suitable during pregnancy, nursing, or febrile illness
- designed to be fed alongside multiple prescription medications
- a substitute for forage, hydration, or mineral balancing
Those roles belong to other blends used before, after, or instead of OptimaCARE.
Which blend – OptimaCARE or OptimaPLUS?
Each supports detoxification, but at very different intensities and stages:
→ OptimaCARE
Structured | Regenerative | 3-stage programme
Best for horses who are stable and ready for a comprehensive gut–organ–circulation reset.
→ OptimaPLUS
Detox + comfort + nutritional balance
Best when detox support is needed alongside discomfort management, with clearer guidance for sensitive or complex horses.
If your horse is coping well but feels overburdened, dull, or metabolically “stuck,” OptimaCARE is the right starting point.

Fussy Eater?
Horses sometimes have their own opinions (and strong tastebuds!), so now and then a new blend might need a little extra encouragement. This doesn’t reflect the quality or efficacy of the product, but rather their natural instinct towards new flavours.

- A short-term “Herxheimer Reaction” (temporary re-toxification) may occur as toxins are eliminated - reduce dose or pause briefly if symptoms appear.
- Best used once acute conditions have stabilised (e.g. laminitis recovery, post-medication, or seasonal transition).
Contraindications
- Not suitable for pregnant or nursing mares due to strong detoxifying botanicals.
- Avoid feeding during acute laminitis or febrile illness.
- Not recommended alongside steroid or anticoagulant medications unless under veterinary guidance.
- Use caution with horses prone to dehydration or electrolyte imbalance; ensure constant access to water and salt.
