LYMPHTONE *Organic herbal blend for horses - calendula/cleavers power, lymph-flowing, circulation-supporting
Harness the lymph-flowing power of nature with LymphTone, a synergistic organic blend of the 3-C’s - Calendula, Cleavers, and Chickweed - to naturally support your horse’s lymphatic health.
Ideal for horses prone to ‘puffy legs’, post-injury swelling, or standing for long periods, this herbal combo is renowned for stimulating lymphatic flow and clearing congestion caused by lymph stagnation.
Quick rule of thumb:
- If movement improves it, you’re in LymphTone territory.
- If it doesn’t, you’re likely looking at LymphCARE .

Overview
When the lymphatic system slows down or becomes stagnant, toxins and cellular waste can’t drain away as they should.
This backup causes protein-rich lymph fluid to pool in tissues, most often in the legs, leading to swelling – known as lymphedema , accompanied by pain and stiffness. And because the lymphatic network is the body’s immune and detox superhighway, sluggish lymph can leave cells undernourished, the immune system compromised, and recovery from injury or infection delayed.
Why does lymph flow falter?
There are lots of reasons – from too much standing still (think long stabling or box rest) to injuries, metabolic stress, or even obesity. Some heavier breeds are also genetically more prone.
What happens if it’s left unchecked?
Stagnant lymph can trigger skin thickening or sores, and in chronic cases lead to conditions such as lymphangitis or CPL (chronic progressive lymphedema).
Why support healthy lymph flow?
Keeping the lymphatic system moving means better fluid balance, toxin clearance, and nutrient delivery – leaving your horse feeling lighter, freer, and back to their best.

Is LymphTone Right for Your Horse?
LymphTone is a good fit when your horse’s legs need a gentle nudge to keep fluid moving – the everyday puffiness that comes with standing, stabling, or reduced movement.
✔ Legs that fill overnight, after travel, box rest, or reduced exercise then improve with turnout or movement
✔ Mild swelling that feels soft, fluidy, and not painful
✔ Stiffness linked to fluid build-up rather than injury
✔ Post-exercise or post-injury legs that need support to clear residual fluid
In short? if your horse’s legs are a bit puffy, a bit sluggish, but otherwise well, LymphTone is the blend that helps keep everything moving so fluid doesn’t hang around longer than it should.
Which blend – LymphTone vs. LymphCARE?
→ LymphTone
Designed for everyday lymph support – mild filling, stable-related puffiness, and gentle encouragement of fluid movement.
→ LymphCARE
Designed for deeper lymphatic support – recurring flare-ups, heavier congestion, or tissues that are struggling to stay comfortable.
In short? If it’s mild, everyday puffiness, choose LymphTone. If it’s recurrent, heavier, or more stubborn lymphatic patterns, choose LymphCARE.

Energetic Architecture - the synergy behind the blend
Ahh LymphTone… One of our favourites. It’s simple, elegant, and very purpose-specific, and the architecture reflect that clarity - no overcomplication here.
This is your “keep things moving” blend, not your “deep intervention/lymphangitis” one - that's LymphCARE - and that distinction is key.
The synergy behind LymphTone
Energetic Architecture explains how LymphTone has been structured to support gentle lymphatic movement and everyday fluid balance in a balanced way.
The lymphatic system relies entirely on movement. When horses are standing in, travelling, or simply not moving as much as usual, fluid can begin to settle - particularly in the lower limbs - leading to that familiar “puffy” appearance.
LymphTone is designed to gently encourage that natural movement again, helping fluids circulate and drain without forcing or overstimulating the system.
The blend centres around three classic lymphatic herbs - Calendula , Cleavers , and Chickweed - each contributing to fluid movement, tissue comfort, and circulatory support.
Think of it as the functional blueprint behind the blend- a simple, coordinated approach to keeping lymph moving and tissues comfortable day to day.
Functional intent
LymphTone is designed for everyday lymphatic support, particularly where fluid accumulation is linked to inactivity, stabling, or mild circulatory sluggishness.
The blend works across three complementary pathways: lymph movement → fluid balance → tissue comfort
This helps maintain lighter, comfortable limbs while supporting the body’s natural drainage systems without pushing beyond what’s needed.
Functional categories – everyday lymph support in action
- Lymphatic Movement & Drainage - Galium aparine (Cleavers) & Calendula officinalis
Encouraging gentle movement of lymph fluid through tissues prone to mild stagnation. - Fluid Balance & Tissue Softening - Stellaria media (Chickweed) & Galium aparine (Cleavers)
Helping reduce fluid accumulation and maintain comfortable, supple tissues. - Circulatory Support - Calendula officinalis
Supporting healthy peripheral circulation to assist fluid movement and tissue nourishment.
Why this synergy works
Cleavers leads the blend
Primary lymphatic mover — this is your drainage driver.
Calendula supports flow and tissue tone
Bridges lymph movement with tissue comfort and circulation.
Chickweed softens and settles tissues
Helps reduce fluid retention and maintain comfort in mildly congested areas.
Big picture
LymphTone is designed to keep things moving before they become a problem.
When fluid stagnation is mild and responsive to movement, LymphTone is usually all that’s needed.
When it’s not - that’s where LymphCARE steps in.
Clinical Considerations / Veterinary Reference
Advisories
- Feed as part of a comprehensive support plan for horses with fluid retention, puffy legs, or slow post-injury recovery.
- Ensure consistent hydration and daily movement (even gentle hand-walking) to encourage natural lymphatic drainage.
- May be paired with LKLCARE to complement liver–kidney detox pathways, or JointReflexa during periods of stiffness or post-laminitic swelling.
- Recommended as a 4–6 week course, with review thereafter. Safe to feed long-term.
Contraindications
