Overview
Skin or lung issues, coat-change time, or following a gut regeneration programme?
The three vital detox amigos - the liver, kidneys and lymphatics - are the body's own natural and sophisticated detoxification and filtration organs, and they play a crucial role in maintaining overall health. Periodic cleansing helps keep them functioning optimally.
LKLCARE is a safe, gentle, and highly effective liver–kidney–lymph support blend for horses needing metabolic clarity, coat-change support, skin help, or post-gut-reset detox balance.

Why we designed LKLCARE this way
Over the years, working with thousands of horses across skin issues, metabolic strain, coat changes, stress, and post-gut-reset recovery, one pattern became very clear:
Detox isn’t a single process - it’s a system.
And when one part slows down, the others struggle.
Most “detox” products focus on just the liver.
But horses don’t detox through one organ - they detox through a network:
- Liver → Kidneys → Lymphatics
It’s a three-part clearance pathway that must move in sequence:
- Process → Transport → Excrete
- If the liver is filtering but the lymph is sluggish, waste gets stuck.
- If the kidneys can’t keep up, metabolites recirculate.
- If lymphatics are overwhelmed, it shows up in the skin, coat, feet, or energy.
Again and again, we saw horses who:
- shed poorly
- looked “stuck” between seasons
- had recurring skin flare-ups
- carried metabolic fog or low resilience
- struggled after gut repair because detox pathways couldn’t keep up
LKLCARE was designed to address that gap - a whole-system detox blend that supports the liver, kidneys, and lymphatics together, gently and in the right order.
Not to “cleanse" or flush, but to restore the natural function so the body can do what it does best.
This is why LKLCARE sits at the heart of our C.A.R.E. protocol: Cleanse | Activate | Regenerate | Energise.
Is LKLCARE Right for My Horse?
LKLCARE is the right choice when your horse needs gentle, whole-system detox support - especially through coat change, skin flare-ups, metabolic sensitivity, or after completing a gut programme.
Choose LKLCARE if your horse…
- Is going through seasonal coat change and seems slow to shed, dull-coated, or “stuck” between seasons.
- Has metabolic sensitivity(EMS/IR, laminitic history) and needs gentle liver–kidney–lymph support to keep inflammatory load lower.
- Has just completed a gut repair(SiboCARE, LeakyGutCOMBO, KPUCOMBO, Hindgut Reset) and now needs detox pathways to process residual by-products smoothly.
- Feels a bit sluggish or “toxic-tired”- low sparkle, easily overwhelmed, or slow to recover after stress, illness, or medication.
- Is an older horse who benefits from regular, gentle support for detox organs, circulation, and vitality.
LKLCARE offers a safe, structured way to support clarity and flow along the liver:kidney:lymphatics axis.
Which blend - LKLCARE vs. LiverCARE?
Each formula works at different levels.
→ LKLCARE
The all-rounder. Ideal when you want the entire detox axis(liver + kidneys + lymph) functioning smoothly.
→ LiverCARE
Best for horses needing targeted liver attention — long-term meds, enzyme readings, sluggish hepatic function.
In short - if your horse has mixed symptoms(coat, skin, lymph, metabolic fog), choose LKLCARE. If your horse needs pure liver focus: LiverCARE.
Composition & Feed Guide
Each botanical in LKLCARE plays a targeted role in supporting the liver, kidneys, and lymphatics — the three key detox organs that work together to clear metabolic waste, maintain immune balance, and keep the whole system running smoothly.

Energetic Architecture - how LKLCARE Works
Energetic architecture describes how a blend is built to support systems working together , rather than pushing detox through one organ in isolation.
LKLCARE is designed around the natural liver:kidney:lymph axis- the body’s integrated filtration and clearance network. It creates the internal conditions that allow waste to be processed, transported, and excreted smoothly and safely.
Functional categories – the detox network in action
- Hepatic processing & metabolic clarity -
Silybum, Taraxacum root, Arctium, Smilax
Supports the liver’s role in neutralising metabolic waste, hormones, and toxins — the first critical step in healthy detoxification. - Renal filtration & fluid balance -
Taraxacum leaf, Urtica
Encourages gentle kidney filtration and mineral-supported elimination, helping waste leave the body once processed. - Lymphatic drainage & tissue flow -
Galium, Calendula, Echinacea
Supports the movement of waste away from tissues, skin, and limbs - particularly important during coat change and skin flare-ups. - Circulatory delivery & system integration -
Crataegus
Maintains healthy blood flow so nutrients reach detox organs efficiently and cleared waste can move onward without stagnation. - Immune modulation & terrain support -
Astragalus, Echinacea, Tabebuia
Helps maintain balanced immune responses while detox pathways are active - preventing inflammatory “backlash.”
Energetic architecture – how the blend behaves
Rather than stimulating detox aggressively, LKLCARE works by
- supporting processing before elimination
- encouraging steady lymph flow, not dumping
- maintaining hydration and mineral balance
- protecting tissues during increased metabolic clearance
This makes it suitable not just for short cleanses, but also for sensitive, metabolic, or older horses who need ongoing support without stress.
Functional intent – what LKLCARE is designed to achieve
LKLCARE is intended to:
- support smooth seasonal transitions (coat, skin, metabolism)
- support natural clearance after gut resets or periods of medication use
- reduce the congestion patterns that show up as skin, coat, or lymph issues
- restore energy and “sparkle” without overstimulation
- maintain long-term detox resilience safely
It's not about forcing a detox - it restores the body’s ability to do it well.
Why this works (and why horses respond so well)
Many “detox” products focus on the liver alone, or push diuresis hard - which can leave waste circulating, tissues irritated, and horses feeling flat or overwhelmed.
LKLCARE works because it respects the sequence of detoxification:
Process → transport → excrete
By supporting the liver, kidneys, lymph, circulation, and immune system together , the body can clear waste efficiently - without inflammatory spikes, skin flares, or metabolic crashes.
That’s why owners often report:
- clearer skin and coats
- better energy and recovery
- reduced “toxic-tiredness”
- improved comfort during seasonal change
Clinical Considerations / Veterinary Reference
A gentle, functional detox-support blend designed to nourish the liver, kidneys, and lymphatics. Suitable for most horses when fed at the recommended rate.
Advisories
- Ensure ad-lib forage and good hydration, as kidney- and lymph-support herbs work best when the horse can drink freely and urinate normally.
- LKLCARE can be fed either short-term as a 1-month course (e.g. seasonal detox, coat change, after gut support), or long-term as part of an ongoing maintenance routine.
Contraindications
- Not suitable for pregnant or nursing mares, due to the inclusion of active cleansing and circulatory botanicals.
- Avoid in horses with known kidney compromise unless under direct veterinary supervision, due to the diuretic action of several herbs.
- Caution in horses on anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications, as herbs like Hawthorn and Nettle may mildly influence blood flow or clotting dynamics.
- Not advised for horses undergoing aggressive pharmacological liver treatment unless discussed with the attending vet.
