💡Top Tip
For a complete reset/detoxification protocol, see our OptimaPLUS , which addresses discomfort, detoxification, and nutritional balance in one structured plan, and with proactive support suggestions thereafter.
📌 Note
Horses sometimes have their own opinions (and strong tastebuds!), so now and then a new blend might need a little extra encouragement. This doesn’t reflect the quality or efficacy of the product, but rather their natural instinct towards new flavours.

Overview
Fed over 1-month, with each 'stage' fed over 10-days, the synergistic combination of each stage of our OptimaCARE formula is formulated to bring a healthy balance back into the whole inner-engine of the horse, specifically the gut and immune system, filtration detoxification organs (lymph nodes, liver and kidneys), and the two circulatory systems (lymph and blood).
Once the course is finished, allow a week for the system to realign, function and strengthen by itself. This will also give you the chance to assess how your horse is, so that any symptoms they may then present with can be addressed directly instead of having to struggle through an overburdened system.

Recommended
Ensure quality stemmy hay is available 24/7 to provide sufficient cellulose fibre, to help restore the hindgut microbiome.
Contraindications
- Not recommended for the pregnant or nursing mare.
- Do not feed to horses during onset laminitis, as re-toxification (the process of swift toxin elimination) may overburden the blood supply until the toxins are eliminated.
- Your horse may experience a Herxheimer Reaction- a rare but temporary re-toxification response as the body detoxifies. Often described as "feeling worse before feeling better," this short-term reaction, typically lasting just a few days, indicates that the detox process is effectively clearing toxins. During this time, your horse might show symptoms such as joint or muscle stiffness, itching or scratching, sweating, or temporary gut imbalances, all signs of a natural part of the cleansing process.
