Cleanse | Activate | Regenerate | Energise
LKLCARE brings together a synergistic blend of organic botanicals to support the liver, kidneys, and lymphatics – the body’s natural detox network.
Designed to support the hindgut:liver:kidneys pathway, it’s an ideal blend for seasonal coat changes, metabolic sensitivity, and post-gut-reset support.✨ “He’s gone from strength to strength - even galloping and bucking again!”
Important Note
If your horse shows recurring seasonal skin patterns, you may find our KPU page helpful. It often explains the deeper “ why ” behind these cycles which often appear in horses who fit the KPU spectrum.
Overview
Skin patterns, seasonal coat change, or post-gut-reset support?
The liver, kidneys, and lymphatics form the body’s natural filtration network, helping maintain internal balance through steady daily clearance.
LKLCARE is a gentle, whole-system blend designed to nourish this detox axis – especially through seasonal transitions, metabolic sensitivity, or after a gut programme.
Why we designed LKLCARE this way
Over the years, one pattern became very clear - detox isn’t a single process – it’s a system.
Most “detox” blends focus only on the liver. But horses clear metabolic by-products through a sequence:
- Liver → Kidneys → Lymphatics
- Process → Transport → Excrete
LKLCARE was designed to support that whole network together – gently, in order, and without forcing a flush.
That’s why it sits at the heart of our C.A.R.E. protocol: Cleanse | Activate | Regenerate | Energise.

Is LKLCARE Right for Your Horse?
LKLCARE is a good fit when your horse needs gentle, whole-system support for the liver:kidney:lymph axis – especially during seasonal change or after a gut programme.
Choose LKLCARE if your horse:
- seems slow to shed, dull-coated, or “stuck” between seasons
- shows recurring skin patterns that come and go
- is transitioning after a gut reset or dietary overhaul
- feels flat, sluggish, or slow to bounce back
- is older, sensitive, or benefits from regular internal support
LKLCARE offers a structured way to support clarity and flow along the liver:kidney:lymph axis.
Which blend – LKLCARE vs. LiverCARE?
Each formula works at a different level.
→ LKLCARE
The all-rounder – ideal when you want the entire detox axis (liver + kidneys + lymph) supported together.
→ LiverCARE
Best when the focus is specifically hepatic – for example, long-term medication support or liver markers that need closer attention.
In short? if symptoms feel mixed (coat, skin, lymph, energy), choose LKLCARE. If the focus is purely hepatic, choose LiverCARE.
Composition & Feed Guide
Each botanical in LKLCARE plays a targeted role in nourishing the liver, kidneys, and lymphatics – the three key detox organs that work together to support steady daily clearance and whole-body balance.

Energetic Architecture - LKLCARE's Synergy
Energetic architecture describes how a blend is formulated to support systems working together , rather than pushing detox through one organ in isolation.
LKLCARE is designed around the natural liver:kidney:lymph axis- the body’s integrated filtration and clearance network. It creates the internal conditions that allow waste to be processed, transported, and excreted smoothly and safely.
Functional categories – the detox network in action
- Hepatic processing & metabolic clarity -
Silybum, Taraxacum root, Arctium, Smilax
Supports the liver’s role in processing metabolic waste, hormones, and toxins - the first critical step in healthy detoxification. - Renal filtration & fluid balance -
Taraxacum leaf, Urtica
Encourages gentle kidney filtration and mineral-supported elimination, helping waste leave the body once processed. - Lymphatic drainage & tissue flow -
Galium, Calendula, Echinacea
Supports the movement of waste away from tissues, skin, and limbs - particularly important during coat change and skin flare-ups. - Circulatory delivery & system integration -
Crataegus
Maintains healthy blood flow so nutrients reach detox organs efficiently and cleared waste can move onward without stagnation. - Immune modulation & terrain support -
Astragalus, Echinacea, Tabebuia
Helps maintain balanced immune responses while detox pathways are active - preventing inflammatory “backlash.”
Clinical Considerations / Veterinary Reference
Advisories
- Ensure ad-lib forage and good hydration, as kidney- and lymph-support herbs work best when the horse can drink freely and urinate normally.
- LKLCARE can be fed short-term as a 1-month course, or longer-term as part of an ongoing maintenance routine.
Contraindications
- Not suitable for pregnant or nursing mares, due to the inclusion of several active botanicals.
- Avoid in horses with known kidney compromise unless under direct veterinary supervision.
- Caution in horses on anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications, as herbs such as Hawthorn and Nettle may mildly influence blood flow.
- Not advised for horses undergoing aggressive pharmacological liver treatment unless discussed with the attending vet.
