Cleanse | Activate | Regenerate | Energise

Gas/bloat/acidic droppings? When your horse’s gut is unsettled, you know it.

Some horses show their gut discomfort loud and clear - gas that comes out of nowhere, bloating, and right-hand side sensitivity or flinching when touched. Then there's the girthiness or cow-kicking during tacking up, the mood changes - grumpy, tight, spooky - not to mention spring and autumn grass turning everything upside down.

When the delicate balance of the hindgut is disrupted, everything from digestion to immunity begins to unravel. For owners it’s exhausting, for horses it’s really uncomfortable, and it often leaves you wondering, Why does his gut react to everything ?”

Enter SiboCARE - t his is your horse’s “reset phase” blend - the one you start with before soothing and repairing. It helps clear harmful microbial overgrowth while nurturing the beneficial flora essential for gut and immune resilience. Each herb works in harmony to calm irritation, restore microbial equilibrium, and support the body’s natural repair mechanisms - helping your horse regain digestive balance from the inside out.

Overview

When the gut microbiome integrity is disrupted, it impairs the immune response. Hence it's imperative to support the beneficial gut biome colonies and clear out the bad bacteria, in order to rebalance the gut biome and the immune cells which reside in the intestines.
Vets meanwhile, are commonly prescribing antibiotics for SIBO, referring to it as a 'stomach infection'. Yet as we know, antibiotics destroy the beneficial bacteria in the intestines - and lest we forget, it's these beneficial microbes which create the immune cells.
SIBO ( Small Intestinal Bacterial Overload ) means that pro-inflammatory gut bacteria have colonised and crowded out the beneficial hindgut biome, including the now recognised Archaea strand, which is also showing resistance to the majority of antibiotics that are commonly used.
Human health studies now show that the microbiome as a whole rarely recovers from an 'antibiotic' assault.
A botanical approach is less aggressive and has also been shown to be as effective as pharmaceutical antibiotics in clinical trials for SIBO treatment.

Is SiboCARE Right for Your Horse?

SiboCARE is the foundational stabilising support for hindgut microbial imbalance, aka 'dysbiosis'.

SiboCARE may be suitable if your horse:

✔ has active dysbiosis/SIBO/gas/bloating
✔ swings their head toward the right flank, clearly reacting to gut pressure✔ C ow-kicking, girthy, or noticeable belly discomfort
✔ has acrid, acidic, or unusually pungent droppings
✔ reacts dramatically to grass flushes, haylage, or feed changes
✔ shifts behavious when the gut is off – tight, grumpy, spooky, or reactive
✔ shows digestive upset following antibiotics, stress, or diet disruption

Which blend – SiboCARE vs. LeakyGutCOMBO?

SiboCARE
Designed for the reset phase – helping bring microbial overgrowth back into balance and easing the gas, pressure, and instability that come with dysbiosis.

LeakyGutCOMBO
Designed for the repair phase – alleviating discomfort, stabilising the hindgut dysbiosis, and supporting the intestinal lining when faecal water, sensitivity, or poor absorption suggest the barrier itself needs deeper care.

In short?

  • If your horse shows gas, bloating, and dysbiosis-type gut pressure, choose SiboCARE.
  • If the patterns point more toward faecal water and gut lining repair, choose LeakyGutCOMBO.

Energetic Architecture - the synergy behind the blend

SiboCARE is not a blanket antimicrobial formula.
It is a gut terrain stabiliser — helping the hindgut move from microbial chaos back toward a balanced, resilient ecosystem.

Once the microbial pressure settles, the gut lining can then be supported more deeply with LeakyGutCOMBO or GutAminos as the next stage of care.

Functional categories - dysbiosis support in action

  1. Microbial terrain rebalancing - Andrographis paniculata, Berberis vulgaris, Handroanthus impetiginosus
Helping bring bacterial and fungal populations back into harmony without destabilising the wider microbiome.
  2. Digestive lining protection - Symphytum officinale, Filipendula ulmaria
Calming irritation and supporting the resilience of the intestinal mucosa while microbial pressure is reduced.
  3. Debris Binding & Intestinal Transit - Plantago ovata (dried blend) / Althaea officinalis (tincture version)
Supporting the safe removal of microbial debris and metabolic by-products as the gut recalibrates.
  4. Immune & Metabolic Resilience - Astragalus membranaceus
Helping the gut-associated immune system stabilise during microbial recalibration.
  5. Metabolic Debris Escort- Smilax ornata
Traditional alterative herbs that help the body manage inflammatory by-products released during microbial rebalancing

Functional intent

SiboCARE is designed as the reset phase for microbial imbalance in the hindgut.

Rather than blasting the gut indiscriminately, the blend works to recalibrate microbial terrain while protecting the intestinal lining and supporting the body’s natural elimination pathways.

This allows microbial overgrowth to settle while maintaining digestive comfort and supporting the immune-rich environment of the hindgut.

Clinical Considerations / Veterinary Reference

Advisories

  • Best fed alongside a grass-forage, fibre-based diet with 24/7 meadow hay.
  • Feed for a minimum of 4 weeks for full reset support.
  • SIBO hurts! If your horse needs support, alleviate with DuoBute , fed alongside the SiboCARE.
  • Spirulina is an excellent mycotoxin binder and deacidifier, especially useful if you've been feeding haylage which introduces lactic-acid bacteria into the hindgut.
  • After SiboCARE, follow with GutAminos or our combined blend, LeakyGutCOMBO, for mucosal repair, followed by LKLCARE for gentle detox-axis support.

Contraindications

  • Not suitable for pregnant or nursing mares.
  • Use caution alongside anticoagulant, steroid, or immune-modifying medications unless advised by your vet.
  • Discontinue if unexpected sensitivity occurs.
